realistic value

In these times of economic uncertainty, what homeowner hasn't wondered what their home is currently worth.

Even if you have no plans to sell your home in the coming year, it's natural to be concerned about its value.  For most Americans, the single most valuable item we own is our home.  We've come to believe our homes should--and will--appreciate every single year, year after year, decade after decade.

Wasn't it just a couple of years ago that we could go to websites such as and see our home apparently being worth tens of thousands of dollars more than they had been the previous year? Then we projected that rate of growth forward into 2007 & 2008 and considered it "money in the bank."  However, in the last 12 months we've had the unsettling experience of seeing our neighbors' homes unsuccessfully hosting a succession of real estate signs. Very few showings and even fewer actual sales.

Which brings us to your visit to this page. We can do two things for you-

  1. Provide you with a tool to search current properties on the market. It gives you the ability to search for properties in Vancouver and all of Clark County daily Washington.  save your searches for future reference, and request more information about particular properties. 

    It also provides a way for you to mark individual properties as "favorites" so that you can easily pull them up again for reference purposes.  You and also email favorites to yourself or others.

    There are two limitations on this data:

    •     It includes only properties currently on the market:
      •     "active"- have not accepted any purchase offer
      •      "bumpable"- have accepted an offer that has some major
              contingency--can be 'bumped' by another offer that isn't 

    • It does not include "pending" and "sold" properties.

  2.
